Education Above All Foundation and UNHCR partner to enrol more out-of-school, refugee children

UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, and global development organization Education Above All (EAA) Foundation have signed a new, five-year agreement aimed at addressing the global challenge of out-of-school children (OOSC), including refugees, internally displaced people and host community children. The new agreement builds on the success of enrolling more than 1.6 million OOSC in 14 countries globally since 2012. Global Plastics Treaty Negotiating Countries Fail to Respond to the Magnitude of the Plastics Crisis

The fourth meeting of the Intergovernmental Negotiating Committee (INC-4) for a global agreement to end plastic pollution concluded after a plenary full of huddles, leaving the most contentious item to the very end of the session: intersessional work, which did not include discussions on primary plastic polymers. Top creatives blind To ‘AI washing’, finds global poll

 Some 80% of creatives have never heard of the term ‘AI washing’, according to a new global poll from Designit, the Wipro-owned global experience innovation company.   The poll, which canvassed respondents ranging from design strategists and leaders to UX and product designers, found the AI-washing blind spot was evident across all levels of experience.  Despite the growing number of ‘AI washing instances, only 14% of creatives knew of it and had experienced it, with the remaining 6% knowing of it, but not knowingly coming face-to-face with the phenomenon.  ‘AI washing’, which is the exaggeration or…
