The IPA has announced the appointment of Denise Turner as its new Media Research Director. Turner joins the IPA from Route where she has been CEO since June 2022. She succeeds Belinda Beeftink, who retired at the end of 2024, and will join the team once she has completed her notice period at Route. Global operational offshore wind capacity grows by 15% in 12 months to 80 gigawatts

RenewableUK’s latest Offshore Wind EnergyPulse Insights report shows that the global capacity of fully operational offshore wind farms has reached 80.9 gigawatts (GW), up from 70.2GW twelve months ago, an increase of 15%.
