The National Safety Council and NCCCO Foundation have launched a free tool to help employers eliminate serious incidents and fatalities (SIF). The Organizational Safety Gap Analysis Tool identifies weaknesses in safety systems before incidents occur. The need is clear. The Ad Council, in partnership with the U.S. Department of Transportation’s National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and the Television Bureau of Advertising (TVB), today announced the launch of the 22nd annual Project Roadblock. EcoVadis named top Rating agencies by ERM Sustainability Institute

The ERM’s latest assessment of the ESG rating landscape finds that corporates continue to favor active raters for the quality and usefulness of their ESG ratings. While S&P Global ESG and CDP rank first and second for quality, EcoVadis jumped up the rankings to take third place (up from fifth place in 2023) and first place for usefulness (up from seventh place in 2023). Integrity Council confirms carbon crediting program Puro.Earth as CCP-Eligible

Puro.earth is the eighth program to be approved as CCP-Eligible, the Integrity Council for the Voluntary Carbon Market (ICVCM) announced today. The approval applies to the most recent version of the Puro.earth standard (version 4.2). CCP-Eligible status means that programs have demonstrated that they meet the rigorous criteria of the Core Carbon Principles (CCPs) Assessment Framework for effective governance, transparency, tracking and robust independent third-party validation and verification. USD 52.8 million in new GEF support to boost UNEP-led environmental initiatives worldwide

The Global Environment Facility (GEF) has announced USD 52.8 million for four new UN Environment Programme (UNEP)–led projects during its 70th Council meeting.
