Renewable Power Generation Records Its Fastest Growth Ever

The Renewable Energy Statistics 2026 released by the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) today shows that renewable electricity generation grew by 9.8% in 2024 — significantly higher than the growth rate recorded in 2023. Non-renewables continued to fall behind with an increase of 1.4% over the same period.
