The ASA have released a post which talks about them recruiting two new Council members. I have enclosed the text of the link below, but please have a look at the ASA site as there are lots of things of interest to anyone with an interest in Ethical Marketing.
The Advertising Standards Authority is the UK regulator of advertising across all media, including online. Our work includes acting on complaints and taking proactive action against misleading, harmful or offensive ads. ASA Council members rule on the acceptability of ads and act as directors of the ASA, helping to shape the direction of advertising regulation.
We are looking for a new ASA Non-broadcast Council member with career experience of advertising in non-broadcast media, in particular online. Experience of living and/or working in Wales is desirable.
If you would like to apply, please fill out the Application Form at the bottom of this page, and send it to email@example.com.
Closing date: Friday 30 November 2018 at 12 noon.
We welcome applications from all sections of the community regardless of race, gender, age, religion/belief, sexual orientation or disability and expect candidates to honour the Seven Principles of Public Life. Please let us know if you require any reasonable adjustments at the interview stage.
