The Salvation Army’s Fair Christmas Fayre, now in its eleventh year, is returning to Europe’s busiest shopping street this December. The festive fayre on Oxford Street features over 25 unique stalls selling eco-friendly, Fairtrade, upcycled, recycled and charity gifts and fashion. Fair Christmas Fayre gives shoppers a chance to enjoy all the sparkle of Christmas in a way that is fair for the world’s poorest people and the planet.
Fair Christmas Fayre is being held on Saturday 1 December at Regent Hall Salvation Army, 275 Oxford Street – just a few metres west of Oxford Circus underground station. The fayre will open from 11am to 6pm and will provide an ethical alternative to high street shopping in the run up to Christmas.
Organiser, Hayley Still, from The Salvation Army’s International Development team said: “We are delighted to be organising Fair Christmas Fayre and once again bring together a rich variety of ethical traders selling eco-friendly, fair trade and recycled gifts and fashion. The fayre offers shoppers the opportunity to buy high quality Christmas gifts, whilst also making a difference to the lives of others.”
