Broadcasters Daniel Henry and Louise Minchin to host the CIPR PRide Awards

Broadcasters Daniel Henry and Louise Minchin will host the CIPR’s 2021 PRide Awards ceremonies on October 5 and 6 October, respectively.

Over 230 public relations teams and consultancies have been shortlisted in the PRide Awards, the UK’s leading regional PR awards celebrating outstanding practice in Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, and across six English regions over the past two years. This year’s awards include the new, free-to-enter ‘Best COVID Response’ category, reflecting the outstanding work public relations professionals have demonstrated throughout the pandemic.

Daniel Henry, a writer and reporter renowned for his storytelling and recent involvement in producing and presenting the four-part documentary series, African Diaspora Diaries, will host the ceremony on Tuesday October 5 with Louise Minchin, a broadcaster with an extensive career at the BBC, hosting on Wednesday October 6. Both ceremonies will be held virtually.

The PRide Awards are fast-approaching and I am delighted we have two presenters of such calibre to reflect on the achievements of the public relations profession over the last two years. Following a break in 2020, we’re back and ready to celebrate the varied, creative and important work demonstrated by our industry. I hope you will be able to join us for what promises to be an exciting couple of days.
