Over 230 public relations teams and consultancies have been shortlisted in the 2021 CIPR regional PRide Awards, as revealed in a series of Twitter announcements yesterday. The PRide Awards are the UK’s leading regional PR awards, and this year celebrate outstanding practice in Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, and across six English regions over the past two years.
The names of the companies and professionals who will go head to head across the categories were published yesterday and include the new, free-to-enter ‘Best COVID Response’ category, reflecting the outstanding work public relations professionals have demonstrated throughout the pandemic.
The winners will be announced across virtual awards ceremonies on Tuesday 5 October and Wednesday 6 October;

- Anglia, Thames and Chiltern – 13:00-14:00
- Cymru Wales – 14:30 – 15:30
- Midlands – 16:00 – 17:00
- North East – 17:30 – 18:30
- North West – 19:00 – 20:00
Wednesday 6 October
- Northern Ireland – 13:00 – 14:00
- Scotland – 14:30 – 15:30
- South of England and Channel Islands – 16:00 – 17:00
- Yorkshire and Lincolnshire – 17:30 – 18:30
Many congratulations to all those who have been shortlisted in this year’s PRide Awards. Seeing so many entries come in is a testament to the strength of the profession and the quality of the work right across the UK.
