Clear Channel Confirmed As The Creative Shootout’s Out Of Home Media Partner

Clear Channel UK has been confirmed as The Creative Shootout’s 2024 official Out of Home media partner, joining other big names like The Guardian, in supporting the UK’s leading done in a day creative-for-good awards, with £100,000 of media inventory.

Clear Channel, one of the UK’s largest Out of Home media and infrastructure companies, will offer the inventory prize for this year’s winning campaign, that will be staged by the winning agency for Charity of the Year, Carers UK, later in 2024. The partnership will see the winning campaign from the awards showcased on digital Out of Home screens across some of the UK’s top shopping malls, like The Trafford Centre, Brent Cross and The Bullring.

Now in its seventh year, The Creative Shootout recently announced the eight creative agencies who had made it through to the Live Final Show, taking place on Thursday 25th January 2024 at BAFTA 195 Piccadilly in London.

The eight finalist agencies, chosen by a high-profile judging panel back in December, are (alphabetical order):

Red Consultancy

On 25th January, the eight agencies will have just four hours to work on the creative brief they receive from Carers UK at lunchtime. The agency teams of four will then have only eight minutes each in the evening to convince the live audience and high-profile judging panel at BAFTA 195 Piccadilly that they have a winning campaign for the charity, with the Clear Channel OOH support in mind.

Johnny Pitt, Founder of The Creative Shootout and judge, comments: “The Creative Shootout exists to transform understanding and awareness of a charity, each year. Clear Channel’s involvement is a game-changer and, along with Carers UK, we really appreciate their support this year.”

Ben Hope, Marketing Director at Clear Channel UK, comments: “The Creative Shootout is becoming well known as the radical format awards programme that gives back to charity, whilst promoting what is great about the UK marketing sector at the same time – unrivalled creative thinking, impactful ideas and a pipeline of outstanding talent. The partnership bolsters our existing charitable efforts, leveraging Out of Home as a creative canvas and a Platform for Good, so we’re delighted to be involved.”

The Creative Shootout is supported by the major marketing associations including The IPA, CIPR, CMA and DMA, along with some high-profile sponsors and partners.
