Green Pastures Celebrates Milestone of 1,700 Investors, Nearing £48 Million in Ethical Investments to House the Homeless

Green Pastures, a UK-based social enterprise tackling homelessness through partnerships with local charities and Christian groups, has reached a major milestone of 1,700 investors – everyday people who are collectively lending nearly £48 million to help those most in need. This growing investor community enables Green Pastures and its partners to provide housing, wraparound support, and the hope of of a future without homelessness to vulnerable people across the UK.

As the cost of living crisis escalates, Green Pastures currently provides homes to more than 1,500 residents, with another 79 tenants awaiting property. “Our mission is to empower local Christian groups to address homelessness in their communities,” said Matty Hawthorne, Head of Communications. “Seeing our investor community grow at this critical time is incredible. Each new investor allows us to change the life of one more person in need.”

Green Pastures’ investment model allows everyday people to lend anything from £1,000 to a cause with impact, offering a return of up to 5% p.a. while enabling the expansion of supported housing with wraparound Christian-led support.
