The Public Relations and Communications Association (PRCA) has published an updated edition of its Accessible Communications Guidelines – in partnership with Current Global – to help PR and communications professionals deliver accessible content.
The new, 49-page edition is the first version of the guidelines also available in braille and has been updated to include more detail on TikTok, ChatGPT and hosting of physical and virtual events.

PRCA Managing Director, Renna Markson, said:
“Accessibility is everyone’s business. The technology available to support accessible communications continues to evolve, and this new edition brings us up to date. It’s designed to help every member of the PRCA, and the industry beyond, to create more inclusive content, campaigns, and experiences. We hope it will spread understanding of the latest and best practice.”
Current Global CEO, George Coleman said:
“We’ve been so encouraged by the number of firms and individuals who have connected with us as a result of these guidelines. We know that the accessible communications landscape will continue to evolve at pace, but the more that we can help others in our industry to take those first important steps means that we’re moving in the right direction for a more inclusive world. We’re proud to be part of this movement.”
