The Prince’s Trust launched Prince’s Trust Music; a YouTube channel packed with iconic performances from artists including Elton John, Robbie Williams, Kylie Minogue and Bryan Adams.
The Prince’s Trust has teamed up with Aviator and YouTube to bring together archive footage from its renowned Party in the Park, Rock Gala and Fashion Rocks concerts to celebrate its musical heritage and raise funds to support its work. The channel will also feature new tracks, interviews with The Trust’s celebrity Ambassadors and exclusive content from singer-songwriters who have been supported by the youth charity.

The channel launched with an official ‘switch on’ moment at YouTube Studios London hosted by Prince’s Trust Ambassador and Kiss FM DJ Neev Spencer. Neev was joined by special guest and Magic FM presenter Ronan Keating, who has 11 tracks on the channel between himself and Boyzone, having performed at a number of Prince’s Trust concerts over the years.
Speaking at the event, Ronan said: “My first experience of performing at Party in the Park in ’98 with Boyzone is one I’ll never forget. The atmosphere at those concerts was always incredible, with 100,000 people packed into Hyde Park.
Ronan added: “Of course, there was no such thing as YouTube back then. It’s great to know the recordings live on through Prince’s Trust Music, where they can support the vital work The Prince’s Trust does to help young people get their lives on track.”
Neev added: “Prince’s Trust Music celebrates the incredible support The Trust has received from artists around the world since it was established in 1976, as well as the wealth of talent the next generation has to offer. The more you watch on the channel, the more you’ll raise to help young people realise their ambitions, so don’t hold back from queuing up some videos in your playlist.”
Guests were also treated to a live performance from John Nicholas, a musician who was supported by The Prince’s Trust. Speaking about the help he received, John said: “The Prince’s Trust have provided me with invaluable help and boost in the right direction for me to follow my dream of being a full time musician. The Enterprise course fully equipped me to go out confidently and work for myself. It was such a help to have people believe in me as a person, and their encouragement gave me the confidence to do what I was born to do!

“It seems fitting that these videos can continue to raise money to support our cause, with a new generation of technology enabling us to raise funds to support a new generation of talent. Together, we can create real opportunities that will empower young people across the UK to discover their own strengths and unlock their full potential.”
