UNESCO leads global dialogue to improve the reliability of information

As part of its mandate, UNESCO has launched a global dialogue to provide guidelines for regulating digital platforms, to fight disinformation and hate speech and protect freedom of expression and human rights. The high point will be an international conference organized at the Organization’s Paris headquarters on 21-23 February. The Fundraising Regulator has published new research and updated guidance to support compliance with the fundraising reporting requirements in the Charities (Protection and Social Investment) Act 2016 (the Act). Subak launches £20m fundraise to scale critical NFP climate work worldwide

Global climate tech accelerator and regranter Subak has announced its latest funding round targeting £20million.  The fundraise will help the organisation to expand to a total of eight data-led climate centres (‘nodes’) across six continents by 2025. Each node will be self-sustaining and led by local experts to tackle the region’s most critical issues and create a cascading global impact.
