Life saving CPR to be added to the school curriculum

In a landmark move, the UK Government has revealed plans to add CPR to the national curriculum. The historic announcement sees CPR and first aid added to the curriculum as part of wider Health Education classes. The move could transform survival rates from out of hospital cardiac arrests, potentially saving thousands of lives. The BHF smashes Guinness World Records title in show of solidarity for heart patients

To mark Valentine’s Day this year the British Heart Foundation (BHF) achieved the Guinness World Records™ title for the longest chain of paper hearts with help from almost 18,000 of our supporters. Through our network of over 720 charity shops and thousands of supporters, we asked people to write messages of love and support for their loved ones, people battling heart disease or in memory of those they’ve lost.
