The Carbon Literacy Project has awarded Magenta Associates Bronze Carbon Literate Organisation (CLO) accreditation, reflecting the communications agency’s ongoing commitments to reducing its carbon emissions and tackling climate change. Carbon Literacy, as defined by the Carbon Literacy Project, is “an awareness of the carbon costs and impacts of everyday activities, and the ability and motivation to reduce emissions, on an individual, community and organisational basis.” To become accredited, an organisation must demonstrate Carbon Literacy through everyday behaviour and ensure a substantial proportion of its workforce is individually certified as Carbon Literate.
