The Public Relations and Communications Association (PRCA) has announced Grayling’s Global CEO Sarah Scholefield MPRCA as its 2022-2024 Chair. Scholefield – whose appointment was confirmed at the Association’s recent AGM – succeeds Rachel Friend MPRCA. CIPR and PRCA relaunch joint mental health collaboration

The Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) and the Public Relations and Communications Association (PRCA) have launched a joint mental health survey, in partnership with Opinium, as part of a collaboration designed to address mental health challenges in public relations.  The professional bodies are calling on all PR and communications professionals to complete the survey to help benchmark the industry’s progress on mental health. PRCA welcomes proposed lobbying ban for MPs

The Public Relations and Communications Association (PRCA) Public Affairs Board has welcomed the Committee on Standards’ proposals to tighten lobbying rules for MPs. Under the new proposals, MPs can neither initiate nor participate in approaches to parliamentarians where they stand to gain commercially. The new proposals – which include a new Code of Conduct for MPs – feature an outright ban on MPs providing paid parliamentary advice, consultancy, or strategy services. The PR industry and Climate Misinformation: PRCA & Opinium to revisit climate study
