The #ItCanWait Don’t Text & Drive message launched earlier this year using a fail video for The Western Cape Government in South Africa was a huge success. The Campaign went viral reaching 83 million views and 780 000 shares from a worldwide audience. The Public Relations and Communications Association (PRCA) announced that it has imposed its most serious sanctions on Bell Pottinger, following the industry regulator’s investigation into Bell Pottinger’s work for Oakbay Capital in South Africa. The investigation followed a complaint from the Democratic Alliance. Bell Pottinger’s membership has been terminated with immediate effect.
