The UK’s first live pilot to inject zero carbon hydrogen into a gas network to heat homes and businesses is now fully operational. HyDeploy is a ground-breaking green energy trial at Keele University, Staffordshire, that could help Britain cut its carbon emissions and open the door to a low-carbon hydrogen economy. London Stansted the first major airport in the UK to trial fully compostable security bags

London Stansted is to become the first major airport in the UK to trial the use of fully compostable security bags for passengers carrying liquids in their hand luggage. If successful, the new product could replace the 11 million non-compostable plastic bags which are currently handed out in the terminal every year. Heineken UK to remove plastic from all multi-pack cans by 2021

HEINEKEN UK is eliminating plastic rings and shrink wrapping from its entire portfolio of beer and cider multi-pack cans, removing 517 tonnes of plastic annually from the supply chain – the equivalent of 94 million plastic bags a year. O2 has announced it has joined forces with the Anti-Bullying Alliance (ABA) ahead of Anti-Bullying Week 2019 (11-15th November), in recognition of the fact that all parts of society have a role to play in preventing and eliminating bullying.
