Tesco announces major green power project in the UK

Tesco has announced a major green electricity project to source green electricity directly from wind farms, solar farms and solar panels on its own stores. UK companies cut marketing budgets for first time in seven years

The recent underwhelming performance of marketing budgets continued during the third quarter of 2019, with UK marketers recording a slight reduction to spending availability amid heightened economic and political uncertainty. Lidl launches ‘Too Good to Waste’ fruit and veg discount box to cut back on food waste

Lidl UK has announced that it will become the first supermarket to introduce ‘Too Good to Waste’ fruit and vegetable boxes, containing items that are no longer considered at their perfect best, but are still perfectly good to eat.
