New Government proposal on future funding of supported housing welcomed by housing associations and homelessness charities

Providers responsible for more than a quarter all of ‘short-term’ supported housing in the UK, supporting thousands of people with experience of homelessness every year, have today welcomed the government’s plans for the sector’s future funding, which will see housing benefit retained for all forms of supported housing. People across the country have been urged to show their real-selves this summer after new figures reveal that celebrities and people on social media put the most pressure on young people to look ‘perfect’.
