Amazon Deploys Solar Systems Across UK Fulfilment Centres

Amazon have announced an initiative to generate renewable energy by installing solar panels on its fulfilment centres across the UK, with an installed capacity of 20 megawatts. Amazon expects the solar panels to generate the equivalent amount of electricity required to power over 4,500 UK homes and will reduce its carbon footprint by 6,000 tonnes of CO2 annually. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and the Ad Council announced new television and radio PSAs (public service advertisements) for their “Stop the Texts. Results from a new national, multi-stakeholder survey commissioned by Eli Lilly and Company reveal that metastatic breast cancer (MBC) places a significant daily strain on those living with the incurable disease.
