Warburtons have released its first ever slippers, inspired by the brand’s iconic crumpet. They will be sold online ahead of Christmas with all proceeds from the sale going to FareShare. Ground-breaking Tesco move to change cheese packaging will save 260 tonnes of plastic annually

A ground-breaking move by Tesco to change the packaging of its own label hard cheeses will save 260 tonnes of plastic each year. The saving – equal in weight to 20 double decker buses – has been made by switching from the traditional square block shape to oblong packaging and also by removing the current re-sealable zip.
