UNESCO’s network of centres of excellence are using science to catalyse sustainable development

There are currently 62 centres of excellence around the world that operate under the auspices of UNESCO and specialize in science and engineering. Pro Bono Economics research estimates that there are around 230,000 people under 35 in the UK with net financial assets exceeding £100,000

New research reveals that, while a significant percentage of young people in the UK are keen to contribute to good causes, many are not receiving advice on how best to invest their money. The research, by Pro Bono Economics (PBE), found that while there are around 230,000 people under 35 with net assets exceeding £100,000, roughly 110,000 of those may not be in contact with a financial or wealth adviser. MTVH launches Molly Huggins Foundation

As she prepares to step down after 16 years as Chief Executive of MTVH, Geeta Nanda, OBE, warned that the cost-of-living crisis risks becoming the ‘new normal’ in many communities if urgent action isn’t taken. In response Geeta announced the launch of MTVH’s charity the Molly Huggins Foundation, named after MTVH’s founder, that will invest £75m in community impact projects over the next decade.
