The PRCA welcomes the Sutton Trust’s research and supports urgent action to address inequities in internships. It is unacceptable that 61% of internships remain unpaid or underpaid, disproportionately disadvantaging working-class graduates and widening access gaps. The PRCA believes that internships must offer meaningful learning opportunities, structured mentorship, and equal access, to build a more diverse and inclusive industry.
