Manchester City Council sets out latest five-year plan to tackle climate change

The Climate Change Action Plan 2025-30 details how the Council will continue to deliver dramatic reductions in the amount of carbon (the biggest contributor to harmful climate change) which is pumped into the atmosphere as a direct result of its own operations.   Under the plan, the Council will aim to reduce its emissions by 44% from 2025 to 2030 – saving almost 43,000 tonnes of carbon.
