UK charities struggling to stay afloat in face of increasing demand says new research from food rescue charity Felix

More than one in six parents surveyed (18%) across the UK say they have put their children to bed hungry or without enough food at least once a week in the last 12 months, due to issues accessing or affording enough food, according to new research released today by Comic Relief and Sainsbury’s. First projects funded by Local Innovation Partnership Fund

£30 million has been earmarked for Liverpool City Region (LCR) to boost high-potential innovation clusters. The first two projects to be funded in the LCR through UK Research and Innovation’s (UKRI) Local Innovation Partnership Fund (LIPF) have been announced.
