The International Energy Agency’s World Energy Investment 2026 report, published late May[1], shows that global capital flowing into the energy sector is set to reach USD 3.4 trillion this year, a 5% increase on 2025, with clean energy attracting nearly twice the investment of oil, natural gas and coal combined.
