Cigna launches ‘Make the Right Choices for Your Health’ brand campaign

Cigna Corporation’s Hong Kong business has launched a new brand campaign to promote health and well-being. “Make the Right Choice for Your Health” is an integrated marketing campaign that encourages Hongkongers to make the right choices for all aspects of their well-being so that they can take better control of their health.

The newly-released TV commercials feature a child and an adult choosing between different everyday options to make healthier choices, for example, getting regular check-ups paying attention to diet and relaxing for better mental well-being.

Yuman Chan, CEO and Country Manager, Cigna Hong Kong, said: “Making the right choices is essential for our health and well-being. Our new campaign aims to raise awareness of the importance of making the right choices for your health and for your family’s well-being. At Cigna, we empower people to take control of their well-being needs by providing health solutions as well as helping people to make healthier choices in every aspects of their life.” 

Cigna has also provided several babies born on ‘April Fools’ Day’ a unique surprise by launching its “Cigna Babies Campaign”, and jumpstarting their health journey with health protection. Children of Hong Kong residents born in the city on 1 April 2019 will receive 18 years of complimentary Cigna Voluntary Health Insurance Plan offered by Cigna Hong Kong1. The campaign coincides with the launch of Hong Kong Government’s Voluntary Health Insurance Scheme (VHIS) on April 1st, where Cigna introduced three government-endorsed VHIS plans under the scheme. 

“The health of our children is every parent’s top concern. Parents can help safeguard their children’s health and future needs by ensuring they have medical insurance from birth. That’s why we are celebrating the launch of our VHIS plans and giving April 1st babies the gift of health protection,” added Chan.

The integrated marketing campaign comprises of TV commercials, Out Of Home, digital, social, and an extensive zone domination in Causeway Bay MTR station to drive awareness amongst Hong Kong people of any age to make the right choices for, and take control of their health. Cigna is also the first insurer in Hong Kong to roll out advertisements on the newly launched illuminating “Bright Ring Tram” by Hong Kong Tramways.
