Donr Launches New Analytics Module and Enables National Charity Campaigns

Donr has announced that even more national charities, including The Trussell Trust, Refuge (national domestic violence charity) and the National Autistic Society have joined The Big Issue Foundation and over 750 UK charities that are using Donr’s fundraising technology.

One reason for the new sign ups is Donr’s updated analytics module. The new dashboard makes life easier for fundraisers by giving them instant access to the most important data and stats for their campaigns. The new analytics function from Donr makes the key information, such as Gift Aid conversion rates, immediately available – without the need to extract or manipulate any data. Fundraisers can have the information at their fingertips.

Helping fundraisers to improve those fundraising stats, Donr also offers expert training and support on how best to use social tools and platforms to engage with donors. The training and support accommodate all skill levels and ranges from social media upskilling to how to best integrate text giving into your community and events fundraising strategy.

Refuge recently launched an awareness and fundraising campaign with Picturehouse Cinemas. A sixty-second short film – called Hide and Seek – created by creative agency BBH and directed by Lucy Bridger, has a fundraising call to action at the end, powered by Donr’s technology. Donors can text the keyword ‘HOUSE’ to 70085 to donate £5.

“Thanks to Donr’s improved technology and its new analytics module, the data and insights we can now access about our campaigns will help us develop and improve our fundraising performance. We hope this will generate more income to support Refuge’s life-saving and life-changing domestic abuse services. We have also found the support and guidance we’ve received from the Donr specialist team invaluable as we build our ability and our knowledge around the capabilities of their tools,” said Joanna Felgate, Head of Supporter Fundraising at Refuge.

Another charity to launch a big appeal using Donr’s technology is the The Big Issue Foundation which launched its Spring Appeal at the start of April. The face of the appeal is former vendor Bill Webb and using Donr’s technology supporters can text ‘BILL’ followed by a donation amount to 70085 to make a contribution. For instance, texting ‘BILL 3’ to 70085 would donate £3 to The Big Issue Foundation.

“Charities are continually to signing up to our platform because of the service we provide, the support and training we can offer and now thanks to the new analytics module we have launched,” said Paul Paterson, COO of Donr. “The new analytics is yet another way for us to support charities and optimise their digital fundraising potential.”
