Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communications Management announce second annual Global Ethics Month

The following was posted on the Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communications Management website:

Second Annual Global Ethics Month – February 2021

Now more than ever, professional ethics are being thrust into the global spotlight and are quickly becoming a requirement for every industry, profession and individual. Public relations and communications have been leading the way in this respect for decades, and the Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communications Management will continue that leadership in 2021 with the second annual Global Ethics Month.

Last year’s inaugural campaign received an incredible response worldwide. More than 60 countries and thousands of professionals participated in the campaign, making it one of the most comprehensive engagements on world ethics the profession has ever seen.

While many of our member associations are engaged in ethics-related activities at different points throughout the year, Global Ethics Month and #EthicsMatter in February 2021 will raise awareness of the importance of ethics in communication in all areas of business, government, non-profit and education. The month will also unify our members’ activities and multiply our collective efforts, while bringing global attention to the great work each of you are doing in your own countries to educate and empower public relations professionals.

To participate, we ask that in February 2021 your association or educational body produce ethics-themed content or host an ethics-themed workshop, forum, seminar or training program, either in person or online as part of Global Ethics Month. Global Alliance will commit to helping promote your efforts globally through all our communication channels.

Say yes to going global and being global in February 2021 with the Global Ethics Month.

Please confirm your interest in participating by January 20, 2021.
