One Water, the ethical bottled water brand committed to funding clean water projects worldwide, has significantly expanded its presence in Sainsbury’s stores across the UK. Distribution has grown from 700 Sainsbury’s Local stores to 1,300 locations across their wider estate, making it easier than ever for shoppers to choose water with purpose.
As part of the expansion, One Water bottles will feature in Sainsbury’s popular meal deals across front-of-store chillers, offering customers convenient access to the brand while supporting life-changing projects.
In partnership with The One Foundation, One has raised over £30 million since its launch in 2005, helping to fund clean water and sanitation projects that have transformed over 5 million lives in communities across Africa and beyond. With increased visibility at Sainsbury’s, One Water expects to accelerate its mission towards ending water poverty.
“We’re thrilled to be growing our partnership with Sainsbury’s, giving more shoppers the chance to make a simple, positive choice when they buy water,” said Ian Spooner, Brand Director at One. “Every bottle of One Water helps to change lives, and this expansion means we can have an even bigger impact together. So do one good thing today and grab a bottle of One when you’re out and about or buying your lunch.”
The wider rollout reinforces One Water’s ongoing commitment to supporting supermarkets and retailers in having access to purpose driven brands, while delivering quality and convenience to its customers.
The announcement comes during a busy period as One Water announced a partnership with Brentford FC in the summer, and celebrated 10 years as a B Corp certified organisation, reaffirming its spot as the highest scoring B Corps among UK soft drinks companies.
