PRCA announce new Scotland Group Vice-Chairs

The Public Relations and Communications Association (PRCA) has appointed Angela Hughes, Deputy MD at Clark and Thom Watt, Associate Director at Weber Shandwick Scotland, as Scotland Group Vice Chairs.

Angela and Thom will join current Scotland Group Chair, Laura Sutherland FPRCA, to support the group’s engagement and collaboration plans in Scotland.

NextGen Scotland Committee has also made a change to its leadership structure with Thomas Small, Associate with Weber Shandwick Scotland joining Hannah Fisher, Account Manager at Big Partnership as Co-Chair.

Laura Sutherland FPRCA, Scotland chair, PRCA, said:

“I am just a bit delighted to welcome two Vice Chairs to the group, to help support our plans for a membership drive, learning and development opportunities for members and coordination of activities and initiatives with other creative industry and professional development organisations. 2020 has been a challenge for us all, but showing up for our members was a priority and supporting both emotionally and with opportunities, has been a lifeline for some. We want 2021 to be the year that we enrich membership value and get even more personal with our members.”

The PRCA would like to thank outgoing Scotland Vice Chair Lee Madigan, Head of Communications at ORE Catapult, and NextGen Scotland Chair Sarah Mooney, Marketing Officer at Stellar Quines.
