PRCA launches PRCA Russia to raise PR and communications standards in the region, consolidate the industry, and raise its profile internationally

The Public Relations Communications Association (PRCA) has launched PRCA Russia.

Founded in 1969, the PRCA is the world’s largest PR professional body, operating in 66 countries around the world. PRCA Russia is the first PRCA organisation in Europe to be founded outside of the UK. It is also the first international organisation representing all areas of public relations and communication, and uniting major corporations, leading consultancies, and professionals within Russia.

The new organisation will draw on PRCA’s 50 years of global experience representing the industry, grouping together multiple pre-established businesses and individuals to form one, unified PR professional body in Russia. The main areas of focus will be: consolidating the industry in Russia, raising standards in PR and communications, setting code of conduct, facilitating the sharing of best practices and innovations, raising the profile of Russian PR and communications internationally, creating networking opportunities, working for the greater benefit of the industry, and promoting on the industry’s behalf.

PRCA Russia is chaired by Francis Ingham, PRCA Director General and ICCO Chief Executive, and managed by Elena Fadeeva, FleishmanHillard Vanguard Russia/CIS General Director and Orta Communications Group President.
