The World Green Building Council (WorldGBC) has announced that five world-leading companies joined the Net Zero Carbon Buildings Commitment (the Commitment). These new additions bring the total number of signatories to 100, which is a doubling of participation in the programme in just over one year. Since inception, businesses and organisations signed up to the Commitment now cover nearly 6,000 assets, over 32 million m2 total floor area and $100 billion USD in annual turnover. World’s largest semiconductor foundry joins RE100 and calls on peers to step up on renewable energy

One of Taiwan’s biggest companies, TSMC, is committing to source 100% renewable electricity globally as part of RE100, and urging peers across the electronics industry to follow suit. Carbon Trust comment on US consortium announcement of $10m R&D funding after first solicitation

The Carbon Trust is pleased to see over $10m of R&D funding being awarded to accelerate the deployment of offshore wind technology in the US.
