£86.9 million for scale-up and R&D of net-zero vehicle technology

The Advanced Propulsion Centre UK (APC) has announced the successful applicants of its latest funding rounds, sharing £86.9 million of government and industry funding into zero tailpipe emission vehicle technology. Despite almost one million people in the UK living with dementia today, and it being the UK’s leading cause of death, there is still a widespread lack of awareness around the impact it has on people affected by the condition. A YouGov survey, commissioned by Alzheimer’s Research UK, asked 2,162 people to name how dementia affects a person’s everyday life. Gen Z putting their ‘dream jobs’ on hold

New research released today reveals that the younger generation do not feel able to chase their dream jobs, citing a lack of opportunity (36 per cent) as the number one obstacle.
