Overdose represents nearly 10% of workplace fatalities, yet only 28% of employers report being fully stocked with naloxone on worksites, according to a recent NSC survey. To help protect workers, the National Safety Council today launched the Overdose Emergency Planning Tool, a free resource to help guide employers in establishing an opioid overdose response plan for their workplace. Record number of agencies awarded IPA Effectiveness Accreditation
Forty-four agencies have earned IPA Effectiveness Accreditation for demonstrating their commitment to business effectiveness and delivering commercial outcomes for clients, setting the industry benchmark. This marks the highest number of accredited agencies since the biennial programme’s inception in 2021, with 19 agencies awarded IPA Effectiveness Accreditation for 2021-23, and 30 agencies for 2023-25.
