New research finds public recognise importance of Gift Aid for charities

New research from CAF shows that the public are aware of how important this tax relief is to charities, as three-quarters (77%) of people say that charities rely on Gift Aid. Gift Aid is worth £1.6bn to the UK’s charity sector, and benefits more than 66,000 charities across the UK according to HMRC. The cooling market in developing economies is expected to grow from around USD 300 billion to at least USD 600 billion, per year by 2050, according to a report released by the UN Environment Programme (UNEP)-led Cool Coalition and International Finance Corporation (IFC).
