Studio Republic, a Winchester and London-based creative & digital agency, has announced it’s certification as a B Corporation.
The certification acts as an ongoing commitment to meet the highest standards of social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability to balance both profit and purpose. The certification is held by 2,500 businesses across 50 countries including the likes of Patagonia, Innocent and Ben & Jerry’s.
The journey to B Corp
Becoming a B Corp was something Studio Directors, Chris Todhunter and Jack De Wolf, set-out to achieve in 2018 as the agency naturally evolved into a more sustainable business, supporting increasingly ethical clients.
“This is a proud moment in our history. It’s so important to us that we are recognised as an agency that’s genuinely committed to running our business sustainably and supporting businesses that will change the world for the better. Future clients and employees can now be sure that we are truly ethical and trustworthy. ”

Business as a force for good
The new B Corp accreditation is not just a paid-for certification, it’s a rigorous process that results in it being written into our articles of association.
Managed by Studio Republic’s in-house Sustainability Lead, Halina Myers, the 100+ hour process to attain B Corp status was agreed to be a worthwhile and necessary investment of time in order to demonstrate that the agency truly lives by its values – ethical, trustworthy, passionate and innovative.
While B Corp certification is just one milestone along Studio Republic’s ongoing sustainability journey, the hope is that it will appeal to ethical business owners looking for an agency that shares the same values.
