A ground-breaking heritage apprenticeship programme, designed to pass the dying skill of flint-working to a younger generation, was announced today by English Heritage, following a major donation of £11.2m to the charity from the Hamish Ogston Foundation.  This is the largest donation ever received by English Heritage. Training the countryside guardians of tomorrow as apprenticeship donations top £2m

Some of the UK’s largest conservation organsiations have joined forces to find the countryside guardians of tomorrow, as new figures show record amounts have been donated for apprenticeships. New PR and communications apprenticeship launched for first starts

A new PR and communications apprenticeship, which has been in development for almost three years by a group of 23 ‘trailblazer’ employers, has been approved by the Government for apprentices to start on the programme.  The Public Relations and Communications Assistant Apprenticeship replaces the existing PR Apprenticeship programme which was first launched in 2011 and has seen over 250 apprentices trained in organisations ranging from the NHS to SME PR and communications consultancies.
