Big Issue launches urgent Christmas Appeal as vendor sales drop by 40% UK-wide

The Big Issue (TBI) has launched an urgent Christmas Appeal, calling on the public to support the organisation to be there for its 1,600 magazine vendors  by buying from your local vendor, subscribing or donating online. TBI has reported a projected shortfall of up to £100k each week for both vendors and the organisation in the six weeks leading up to Christmas. On World Homeless Day, The Big Issue (TBI) has launched a digital campaign to highlight the support that Big Issue sellers receive from the Frontline team at the organisation in a bid to help boost sales of the magazine. Over 250 walkers take part in the Big London Night Walk and raise over £80,000 in support of Big Issue vendors

Over 250 walkers joined the Big London Night Walk on Friday, 6th March this year in support of Big Issue vendors. This was one of two flagship fundraiser events organised by the Big Issue Foundation, the charitable arm of the Big Issue.
