Tetra Pak and Stora Enso join forces to triple the recycling capacity of beverage cartons in Poland. The partnership, which follows a comprehensive feasibility study, sees the introduction of a large-scale carton repulping line at Stora Enso’s Ostrołęka production unit in Poland. The line will triple the annual recycling capacity of used beverage cartons in Poland from 25,000 to 75,000 tonnes. This will allow recycling of the entire volume of beverage cartons sold in the country as well as ones from neighbouring countries, including Hungary, Slovakia and the Czech Republic.…

The Ellen MacArthur Foundation’s global Plastics Pact network welcomes the Poland Plastics Pact Polski Pakt Plastikowy, led by Kampania 17 Celów. The online launch of the Polski Pakt Plastikowy took place on the 10th September. Zalando, Europe’s leading online platform for fashion joined forces with the Polish brand MISBHV and the NGO Campaign Against Homophobia to create clothes with a socially important message.  They were made from destroyed clothes that LGBTQIA+ people wore during the attacks.
