Asda has announced that it’s trialling a new “inclusive hour” in Kent and Manchester as part of its support for Purple Tuesday (13th November), the UK’s first accessible shopping day, established to recognise the importance and needs of customers with disabilities and promote inclusive shopping. Retailers urged to sign up to ‘Purple Tuesday’ – the UK’s first ever accessible shopping day

The UK’s first day dedicated to accessible shopping will take place during the run up to Christmas 2018. ‘Purple Tuesday’ on Tuesday 13th November will see retailers across the country – and online – introduce new measures to make the shopping experience more inclusive for disabled customers.
