UNHCR report charts progress against Global Compact on Refugees

A new report released today by UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, shows how far the international community has come since it called for the development of a new international framework to share responsibility for refugee situations – the Global Compact on Refugees (GCR). World champion poet, Emtithal Mahmoud released an emotive poem on the 8th November, bringing awareness to the devastating impact that climate change is having on humankind, particularly on displaced people.
