Yorkshire Building Society and its charity partner Age UK have said thanks a million to the Society’s colleagues and customers for helping to raise over £1 million to help Age UK be there for older people who are struggling most right now. The two-and-a-half-year partnership generated £1,013,577 towards Age UK’s Building Better Lives programme, which helps older people to become more financially resilient. Yorkshire Building Society has launched two digital lessons from its financial education programme Money Minds, to support parents of Key Stage 1 pupils through the coronavirus pandemic. Yorkshire Building Society Launches Bond To Help End Youth Homelessness COVID-19 Appeal

Yorkshire Building Society has launched a fixed rate bond in support of the End Youth Homelessness (EYH) Covid-19 appeal, enabling savers to help homeless young people through the coronavirus outbreak. The one-year End Youth Homelessness Fixed Rate Bond will see savers receive a 0.70% gross p.a/AER* interest rate, fixed until 30 June 2021. The Society will make a one-off donation to the EYH Covid-19 Appeal of 0.10% of all balances held in the bonds after the account has been withdrawn from sale.
