UNICEF Sweden launches new game Violence of Reality

UNICEF Sweden has launched a new game Violence of Reality, that lets you experience domestic violence through the eyes of a child. The game is developed based on testimonials from children that have experienced domestic violence.

Today children are protected from violent scenes in computer games with age limitations. But in reality, many children are not protected from physical and psychological violence. The new game gives a voice to children exposed to violence at home and is developed to demonstrate how it can be to grow up and be subjected to violence within the family.

UNICEF tell us;

” – Every day, children are exposed to threats, abuse and violations at home. We have created a new game that allows you to experience their reality. We saw the game as a new way of working with our messages and reach out to a larger audience, says Andreas Eriksson, Communications Director at UNICEF Sweden. ”
