Ketchum CEO joins PRCA Board of Management

Jo-ann Robertson MPRCA, Partner and CEO, London, Ketchum, has been appointed to the Board of Management of the Public Relations and Communications Association (PRCA).

Robertson was promoted to the role of CEO earlier this month, after working as Deputy CEO since 2015. She joined Ketchum as MD of Corporate and Public Affairs in 2011, from Weber Shandwick.

Robertson began her career as a political activist with the Labour Party, and has taken secondments into the party’s campaigns during the 2005 and 2010 general elections. She has also worked as a TV reporter in Scotland.

Robertson said: “As we enter another volatile year for UKplc it is critical that our industry is united in showing strong leadership. The opportunity for the public relations industry to be the leading communications discipline is right in front of us and as a member of the PRCA Board I intend to accelerate our progress in this area.”

Francis Ingham MPRCA, PRCA Director General said: “We are delighted to welcome Jo-ann to the PRCA’s Board of Management. In her new role as CEO she represents a new chapter in Ketchum’s history and also a fresh voice in the PRCA’s drive towards even greater industry representation in 2018 and beyond.”
