HP Delivers Innovations to Public Health with New CDC Pilot Program

HP Inc. has announced its participation in a pilot program run by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) that aims to accelerate the testing of new antibiotics designed to fight antimicrobial resistant bacteria. The pilot uses HP technology to “print” pharmaceutical samples. Oxfam saves over 7000 tonnes of clothing from landfill every year

Oxfam estimates that it is saving 7200 tonnes of clothing from going into landfill every year thanks to its Wastesaver processing plant. Oxfam is one of the only charities to operate its own textile sorting facility. Donations of clothing that remain unsold in Oxfam’s shops are sent for processing at the Wastesaver facility in Batley, West Yorkshire to maximise revenue and minimise landfill. Prestigious Dementia Friendly Art Created At Forth Valley Royal Hospital

The thoughts of people in Central Scotland who are living with dementia have helped formulate two digital artworks at Forth Valley Royal Hospital – one based on clouds , the other reflecting land through which dreams flow.
