Govan Law Centre (GLC) have launched a crowdfund to provide legal services for women who are homeless. GLC are aiming to raise £5,000 to get the project started and set themselves an ambitious stretch target of £20k, to provide a more holistic, integrated service. GLC promise to tackle the gender inequality at the heart of the homeless system. Waitrose & Partners increase support to Fairtrade farmers with new cocoa commitment

Waitrose & Partners has committed to making all cocoa in its own brand confectionery 100% Fairtrade by the end of the year. The conversion to Fairtrade cocoa in all own brand confectionery will significantly increase the volume of Fairtrade cocoa sold in Waitrose & Partners stores, helping to improve living standards for cocoa farmers. Following a public consultation last summer to which the IPA responded, the London Mayor’s new rules against “junk food advertising” on the London transport network, kicked in on Monday 25 February 2019.
