Mars took part in the launch of a new Business for Inclusive Growth coalition—unveiled in France ahead of the G7 Summit. Mars CEO Grant F. Willmott Dixon unveils ‘green’ roads for new Bristol development

  Residents at Bristol City Council’s Ashton Rise development will drive on some of the UK’s ‘greenest’ roads when they move in next year. Willmott Dixon is using an innovative method that incorporates non-recyclable plastic originating from the scheme into the asphalt used on Ashton Rise’s new roads. Plans submitted for the first waste to jet fuel plant in the UK and Europe

Altalto Immingham Limited, a subsidiary of Velocys and a collaboration with project co-investors British Airways and Shell, has submitted a planning application to develop what is expected to be Europe’s first commercial scale household and commercial solid waste to sustainable fuels plant in North East Lincolnshire. The site is near Immingham, close to the Humber Estuary.
