First international treaty to address violence and harassment comes into force

The first international treaty on violence and harassment in the world of work came into force on June 25th 2021 – two years after it was adopted by the ILO’s International Labour Conference (ILC). To date, six countries have ratified the Violence and Harassment Convention, 2019 (No. 190)  – Argentina, Ecuador, Fiji, Namibia, Somalia and Uruguay. nfpSynergy reveal how the pandemic has shaped charity donations

nfpSynergy have published a mini-report sharing their data on the way that the pandemic has affected charity donation patterns. Key points include: 69% of the general public said they had recently donated to charity pre-pandemic. This had fallen to just 55% as of March 2021. There is little differentiation across gender with both male and female groups showing a reduction. There are, however, large differences across age groups.
